Kenilworth Food Fest

The Kenilworth Food Festival (formerly the Kenilworth Cheese, Food & Wine Festival), now in its 11th year, is a country festival in winter for families to enjoy a weekend of fantastic food and wine.
The setting is the main street of Kenilworth, a picturesque country town approximately an hour west of Noosa. This year the organisers decided the festival needed a re-vamp – including shortening the name – so Brand House Co were asked to come up with a new logo, website and marketing material.
As we knew that the journey to the town of Kenilworth takes you through some of the most gorgeous countryside, we wanted to reflect this in the graphics we provided as well as the branding tag-line we came up with ‘ Enjoy the drive, Love the destination.’
The meandering dots used throughout the marketing material and website, suggest whimsy, fun and the delightful drive to the town of Kenilworth.
The logo is produced in an ochre colour in reference to the Kenilworth Dairies cheese factory, next to which the festival sits and who are a major sponsor of the festival. A colour palette of apple green, ochre, wine red and black represent the vitality and fresh appeal of the festival as well as the music and children’s activities. The logo has the option to be reproduced in the wine colour as well as the apple green.
The underlying theme for the family of graphics was a message of happiness and festivity associated with a day such as this. A fun and whimsical font which echoes the meandering dots is used to embark a relaxed and creative tone. Images depicting people enjoying themselves amoung friends, food and wine are used as well as pictures of the local talent who are appearing at the festival.
