BRAND HOUSE CO PROJECTS

Kenilworth Dairies

Handcrafted cheese has been made in Kenilworth for more than 60 years. The Cochrane family, dairy farmers in the region for 6 generations, became the new owners of the Kenilworth cheese factory in June 2017.

Brand House Communications (BHC) were approached shortly after and employed to re-brand and help re-launch the historic Cheese Factory and Dairy with a new brand identity.

BHC created a contemporary, eye-catching, styalized dairy cow – in a fresh blue – a colour synonymous with dairy – which has become a focal point in the new logo with a cheeky play on words tag-line “udderly delicious, udderly nutritious”

It was important to make the connection through all the branding and marketing that the new owners were long time dairy farmers and would now add authenticity to the cheese factory and dairy story. Revitalising the entire business right through to the factory, café and cellar door was also undertaken.

Signage for the Factory Dairy and shop were designed and photographic shoots arranged, all by BHC. On site farm photography was styled by BHC – as was the extensive food photography of the huge range of cheeses and dairy. Local photographer, Leeroy Todd, was responsible for the excellent images produced.

BHC designed new cheese packaging and created various media – both digital and print, all with the new and contemporary image. The ‘Kenilworth cow’ device features in various forms throughout all marketing material, giving instant recognition to the new Kenilworth Dairies.

BHC were also responsible for designing and building an extensive and beautiful new website – again using the cow icon throughout – which launched in early September 2017, revealing the new image of Kenilworth Dairies.
