We live in an ever-changing world – these days it’s quicker than we’d sometimes like. After all, last year’s latest iPhone release will soon enough be considered ‘old’. And from that perspective it is important that we remember to keep the face of our company fresh. Trends in design are changing and evolving all the time too, and while we believe it’s good to keep abreast of new design happenings, we certainly don’t advocate that you throw everything out at once or too often. A brand who changes it’s image too often is seen as unstable and not to be trusted.
However, keeping your image, brand and logo ‘fresh’ is always a good way of telling your clients/customers that you are a company that stays on top of things. Sometimes a small change, like a new colour
scheme, is all that it needed. If you have kept the same logo for years, maybe it’s time to look at a simple update, this can be done very cost effectively as a way of bringing your brand into today. Changing every piece of material with your logo on it can be done in one hit – or gradually, for example when new business cards need printing. Everything doesn’t need to be done at once, especially if budget is an issue.
So if you are thinking that your brand is looking a little tired…you’re probably not the first one to think that. Do something about it. For a small long-term investment in your company brand image, improved sales/visibility/clients will be your reward.
