We were thrilled to be asked by Abby Wake, a professional dancer hailed from the US, to come up with a new logo and website for her Awake Studio – which was launch only a few weeks ago on July 16th. Abby is an inspirational person, who’s aim is to offer a safe space for primarily women and young girls to come together and express themselves through movement and dance. What an amazing brief this was! After spending some time with Abby we came up with the warm red logo which incorporates the flowing feel of movement into the name Awake. Abby was so happy with our design and we went on to apply the style to her comprehensive website which informs about the various types of classes she offers, as well as giving a bit of insight into Abby herself. Outdoor signage, timetables, brochures and flyers were also required as part pf the design collateral prepared for Awake Studio. Both Alan and I truly enjoyed working on this job …it really was not hard to be inspired by Abby Wake!
